How to form an IPPNW affiliate

A new national affiliate of IPPNW can be formed by a minimum of ten founding physician members completing an application and submitting a formal written constitution, which sets forth the aims and purpose of the organization consistent with IPPNW’s mission of a world free of nuclear weapons, as well as democratic governance and open membership.  This application is then reviewed by the elected IPPNW Board of Directors, which decides whether to approve it for consideration by the IPPNW International Council (IC).  The IC, composed of one vote per national affiliate (similar to the United Nations General Assembly), is IPPNW’s highest authority, and votes on the application.  Please email IPPNW Executive Director Michael Christ for an application or with any other questions.
