Join IPPNW Students and ICAN Campaigners as we celebrate the historic first Meeting of States Parties to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) and call on ALL nations to adhere to the Treaty! On 19 June at 3pm CEST, young people from around the world will join together to say NO to the current nuclear and climate architecture which threaten our future. Participants will bike through the streets of Vienna, Austria with banners, signs, and matching shirts to commemorate this landmark occasion.
IPPNW’s international medical student movement has a rich history of gathering students and young doctors from all around the world for bike tours before major events to raise awareness about the humanitarian impacts of nuclear weapons and advocate for their elimination. During the bike tours, students, young doctors, and activists, conduct educational and advocacy activities, speak to decision-makers and the press, and reach new audiences.
